Do I need to finish all of the prerequisite courses before I apply?
Each Professional Program has a deadline that stipulates when prerequisite courses should be completed. However, many applicants are still working on their prerequisite courses during the application process. Please check your program’s website for more information.

How can I find out if I have fulfilled the prerequisite coursework required by my program?
The Professional Admissions Office will evaluate planned or completed coursework from other institutions to determine if prerequisites for designated Professional Program have or will be met. You can download the Prerequisite Evaluation Form at: You may complete, print, and email the form and scans of all official transcripts to: The coursework will be reviewed and evaluated after all transcripts from all schools are received. After one month has passed, a report will be sent to you via email. Do not hesitate to contact our office to check the status of your prerequisite evaluation.

A prerequisite evaluation will not be done for applicants. If you have already applied, contact our office to know the result of our evaluation of your pre requisite coursework.

Students at Ohio schools should consult before submitting a request. If your school is on the site, there is no reason to submit a prerequisite evaluation form.

Out-of-state students and international students are encouraged to submit pre requisite evaluation forms, well in advance of applying.

Is it necessary to submit all the required documents by the application deadline?
Most of the programs require all documents to be submitted by the deadline. However, in some cases programs allow flexibility with documents such as transcripts or references. Please note that it is always a good idea to have all required documents submitted by the deadline. In this way, you will ensure that your file will be ready for review in a timely manner.
