Special notes
Prospective applicants to the College of Medicine should know that while the college accepts approved courses from a two-year institution, community college or technical school, they may not be viewed by the Admissions Committee as being as rigorous as courses from a four-year institution. Therefore, students are strongly encouraged to avoid taking prerequisites at a two-year institution.
The College of Medicine requires applicants to have a bachelor's degree before enrolling into the program.
All science courses taken require a lab component.
